Product Description JamDock is the cleanest way to integrate your iPod into your practice or live music setup. You can connect and mix in nearly any instrument including electronic drums and send your mix to the stereo outputs and headphone output. JamDock is the first dock for iPod that was designed specifically for musicians. Nearly every musician has an iPod, but until JamDock, there has never been an easy and clean way to integrate your iPod into your practice or stage setup.JamDock enables you to mix your iPod and your instrument and practice with headphones, amp, or PA system. You can also use your iPod to play backing tracks live. JamDock has two 1/4" inputs that work with both line-level sources and high-impedance guitars and basses. The inputs sum to mono when there is only one side present, so you'll hear your guitar on both sides of your headphones. A pair of 1/4" outputs feed your amplifier or PA system, and a 1/4" stereo output feeds your headphones. You can use JamDock on a flat surface, such as a guitar amp, or mount it on a drum rack or stand using the e-percussion Module Mount, sold separately.JamDock also comes with a free minusDrums music-track subscription for fun play-along sessions.

| Customer Reviews: Jam Dock March 15, 2010 Richard H. Snyder (San Francisco, CA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is an answer to my practice prayers. Works like a charm. It was easy to set up and works just as I thought it would. Plug in my iPod, guitar and even my computer to play along with my favorite bands. Headphone jack adds extra value as I can play and not bother my family.
Good idea that doesn't work July 20, 2010 thooley (Spokane, WA United States) Great idea, but it does not work. I have an iPod Classic, and iPod was plenty loud, actually too loud. I couldn't control volume on the iPod itself only through the master volume control. Barely adjusting the master volume control, say 5-10%, it was extremely loud! It washed out the input signal, and when I did get the input loud enough it was EXTREMELY distorted. Thought I had a bad unit but Alesis support gave me the run around, suggested the unit was perfectly fine, and I did not know how to adjust the volume controls! Clearly I can operate two knobs. Unhappy about this unit and experience, I now question ever purchasing any Alesis products in the future. Also wish it would have came with the percussion mount for the drum rack.
