i bought this 4 channel switch center for my mobile DJ services, and it is extremely great. its just right for me and what i do because i dont need a Huge light controller, all i need is these 4 channels. i have had no problems with it at all. it is very heavy duty and can handle plenty of amps.

Excellent product. I am using it as a supplement to the 8 channel. The only recommendation is I wish the plug-ins for each switch were located on the back like the 8 channel instead of below.

Some years back just after I bought a brand new computer, a transformer on a nearby telephone pole blew up from a lightning bolt that caused a huge power surge. BOOM! Blackout! I sat in front of my computer screen like a deer in the headlights. I was in shock that this could happen without warning on a bright, humid, day. The next morning I went to a local hardware store and shopped for a powerstrip that would allow me to turn on my computer and other electrical devices separately. I figured why take chances? The average powerstrip will protect your devices from certain kinds of surges but not all surges. However, if the circuit switch is closed, the electricity can't get through thereby protecting your other devices from meltdown. That is the main reason why I love powerstrips with separate channels. One more thing, a separate channel powerstrip is very useful when you have a device that eats electricity while not being used. With a normal one button 6-way strip you cannot turn off the device individually allowing that device to continually eat power and fatten up your electric bill like a drunken bimbo with a fistful of credit cards. Over the years I have searched every local hardware store and online for a another 4 channel strip without luck until I finally found this item on Amazon. I immediately bought two of them.
I highly recommend this American DJ PC four channel strip for saving you a ton of money while protecting your precious electrical investments. The upside of this powerstrip is the handy red lighted toggle switches that tell you which channel is still open, the downside is the VERY, very short electrical cord that was made for a dj's audio box. I like to keep my PC4 within arms reach.

I used this power strip for a MAME cabinet I was building. I needed to control 4 individual power sources. As you can see by my review it worked perfect.
p.s. To install this I had to take it apart and run it through the hole I cut then put it back together.

I got this to control my computer modem, router, and internet phone. I got tired of unplugging them to reset them. This works great, all the plugs fit and this was by far the least expensive set of switches i could find.
